I let Mrs. Gias pick the workout this morning and she decided she wanted to do a little Insanity. I really like Insanity workouts so I was totally game. Nothing too eventful, I felt good, didn't take any mid-set breaks and built up a nice sweat.
Yeah, that's my Xbox avatar...geeky enough for you?
A self proclaimed geek who used to be a little athletic and really let himself go...I started P90X in February of 2009 and haven't looked back, I lost 30 pounds and am in the best shape of my life. Now that my base fitness is pretty good, I've decided that I'd like to give triathlons a go. Only problem, I haven't swum in 14 years, haven't biked in 18 years and I NEVER liked running...so this could be interesting.
By the by, I'm married to a beautiful, fit and supportive woman and we have two absolutely fabulous girls, ages 1 and 3. It goes without saying, that without them, none of this would make any difference.
Tony Horton - revered creator of P90X and known around the Geek's house as Tone-Tone, T-Hort and "the man". He's a big reason the Geek changed his life for the better...we don't talk bad about Tony, remember, he's the man.
